Announcement & General Invitation to 2nd Geneva Conference on Person-centered Medicine, May 28-29, 2009

L' Auditoire Marcel Jenny, University Hospitals of Geneva Organized by the World Medical Association (WMA), the World Organization of Family Doctors (Wonca), the World Psychiatric Association Institutional Program on Psychiatry for the Person, and the International Network for Person-centered Medicine, in collaboration with several international medical and health organizations, with the cooperation of the Paul Tournier Association, and with the auspices of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG).

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Greetings! We are writing to invite you to participate in the Second Geneva Conference on Person-centered Medicine which will take place at the University Hospitals of Geneva on May 28-29, 2009, co-organized by the World Medical Association (WMA), the World Organization of Family Doctors (Wonca), and the International Network for Person-centered Medicine in collaboration with other major international medical and health organizations and the Paul Tournier Association and with the auspices of the Geneva University Hospitals.
The Second Geneva Conference follows the very successful 2008 Geneva Conference on Person-centered Medicine, and has as overall theme From Concepts to Practice. We plan to examine and discuss key concepts of person-centered medicine as well as practical approaches for its implementation. Complementarily, we shall elicit useful initiatives and studies on person-centered medicine and engage international medical and health organizations on the Conference's theme. Contributed Posters containing initiatives and studies on person-centered medicine are also very much welcome. The enclosed announcement provides further program information.
The Conference seeks to engage physicians, other health professionals and persons interested in person-centered approaches to the health field. A registration fee of USD 200 has been set to cover Conference participation, materials, and an attendance certificate. For registration please contact Prof. Juan E.
